Shockingly Bad Service

I booked six tickets for friends and family, to see the new Star Trek movie at the Nu Metro (V & A Waterfront). When the first trailer started we noticed that the projection was badly distorted. After sitting in the theatre for 20 minutes with the screen going off and on, a staff member came in to inform the crowd that they were experiencing technical difficulties. After another 10 minutes, they began to run the film without fixing the distortion. It was so bad that the entire theatre walked out. The manager of the cinema was no where to be found. After 10 minutes of us standing around a staff member appeared and we were offered a refund or a voucher. What hogwash. What about the long queue to get into the V&A, then the expensive parking, the fact that my guests had to drive from far away (northern suburbs and muizenberg) and the never ending queues for tickets and refreshments? What was meant to be a nice night out turned into a disappointing experience. Disgusting service Nu Metro. Fix your equipment. All our bad movie experiences over the past few years have been associated with Nu Metro.
