I bought a Drifta mobile decoder at Pick&Pay in December2012. I asked the DStv salesperson if I could pay and use this device when needed. I told him that I only watch some rugby and cricket therefore I don't want a full time service. I was told that because they understand the problem this device can be used as I wish.
They have billed me as if its is a full time service and because I did not use the device I did not make extra payments. They demand I pay for use (which I did not because I was under the impression that the device was disconnected automatically until the next time I want to pay and use it again) and a reconnection fee should I ever want to use it again.
I can not sell or give away this device until I've paid the R10.43 and still I have to go through a whole lot of paper work just to get rid of a total loss.
They never answer any questions directly just the usual nonsense and answer to questions I did not have or asked.
