2nd Hand Drifta registration Case# 3298944

I am very disappointed in the lack of support to resolve my challenge.

I baught a DStv Drifta from [URL Removed] at a very good price for one of my customers. After I received the drifta we tried to register the device on my clients customer number just to find that the device is already registered to another person.

According to Multichoice I need to supply the previous owners ID as well as proof of purchase. This was done according to there request. Multichoice came back to and notified me that the owner details I supplied does not exist on there system. That was the details as given by the previous owner of the drifta. I contacted the owner and he said he won the device at a golf game and sold it as is. So we don't know who the real owner was. I have send the new information to Multichoice so that they can clear the device of any owners and let my client register as a new owner.

Now Multichoice came and said that the given device serial numbers does not exist on there system. I have taken a photo of the device and the receipt and send it back to them.

Now I received a mail that we can register, upon trying we received the same error, device is already registered.

Please help
