New DSTV Drifta registered in someone else's name!

I purchased a new usb drifta at [URL Removed] When I phoned DSTV mobile to activate it they told me it is activated in someone else's name and that they cannot get hold of this person because his phone goes onto voicemail.

If someone incorrectly registers their device serial number online they will block the next person that does have the correct number on their device. It is insane that I have to return my device because someone else has made a mistake with their online registration. DSTV mobile simply tells me that there is nothing they can do. I have to now battle to get my device back to the online store.
