I have been struggling for a while now to get through to TopTV to have them fix my broken decoder. The screen suddenly went black, now the thing won't switch on at all. I have been on their website, and it says to SMS my details to their "quick response" number, whenever I do this, I receive an automated message saying that they would get back to me within 24 hours - this has been going on for 2 weeks now.
I don't have time to spend hours trying to get through to technicians again, as I've done two weeks ago. So I expected the "quick response" number to be effective. The only effect it has had was to destroy my faith in StarSat/TopTV.
I even sent an email to their sales department asking for help, or at least a cancellation, since I have to pay at the end of the month for a service which I have not been receiving.
I expected them to come back to me, maybe not within 24 hours, but to not hear from them at all is kind of an indication that I should just cancel my service and smash the decoder and be done with it.
So, I'll be expecting a call before Monday to sort this out because it's time to pay up, and I'm not paying unless I get some service.
