IDrifta Activation Issues

On Saturday the 21st of December, I bought the iDrifta at Srtubensvalley Makro. When I got home I had to activate my iDrifta, then I was told by the Dstv consultant that my Drifta was a duplicate and could not be registered and that I need to go back and exchange it. Today the 24th of December I went to the Vaal Makro, to exchange the unit, whereby I also took the iPad in order for the Dstv department to activate it there. As I was told by the Dstv sales person that he can't do it from the store, with a terrible attitude. Then I called Dstv again to activate it and was told that the smart card was faulty on the unit. And now I need to drive 40km again as we are currently on holiday back to the Vaal Makro to exchange the unit again. I really think this is very unprofessional and terrible service!
