I bought an iDrifta Digital TV aerial plugin for my iPad 2 weeks ago from Dion Wired (official supplier and distributor).
Only to find out from the Multichoice call centre it doesn't work on Apple's iOS 6 rendering the device completely useless. That's R500 in the water.
I might be mistaken but Apple released iOS 6 in 2012 already which gave other smaller App Developers more than enough time to fix their bugs through software updates.
If a large multinational corporation like DSTV/ Multichoice avoids committing to fix their software whilst actively marketing and selling iDrifta's that DO NOT WORK, then perhaps this is a matter for the Consumer Complaints Commission and Advertising Standards Board.
Nobody I know can get any indication from DSTV/Multichoice as to when they intend rectifying the problem.
I am quite astounded and at a loss here.
