I purchased two new walkers at the Silverlakes makro and was told without any confirmation that the units will operate all over the country, and that all that is required was to contact Multichoice to activate the units. I told him that I lived in Bronkhorstspruit and he still asked if it fell in Gauteng region, and assured me that the walkers worked all over the country and that there would be NO problems. Once home I contacted Multichoice only to be told that the units have a certain coverage area and tha Bronkhorstspruit is at present not in the coverage area. Why would the sales persons representing Multichoice sell such items without giving out the correct information. It now requires me to try and return the units to makro hoping that they will accept the goods. I understand that it is not multichoices fault that it only at present has coverage in the larger cities, but their sales reps are supposed to inform their possible clients of the same. It is quite disappointing.
