I purchased 2 HD PVR decoders from H&H which have a 1 year warranty. They started acting up after a month. I called Multichoice who could not resolve telephonically and advised I take them to an agency. I did so and they were confirmed defective. They wanted to swop my new decoders for "refurbished" units.
I took my decoders back to H&H were I bought them to return them. They refused to do so saying that they have an agreement with Multichoice to send them them there. THAT IS YOUR AGREEMENT! I WAS NOT PARTY TO IT AND DID NOT SIGN ANY DISCLIAMER TO SAY I WILL TAKE THEM TO MULITCHOICE FOR PROBLEMS!!!
Now I have 2 broken decoders from a month old which they will not exchange with new ones and it's not even 5 months old. The CPA stipulates that goods to work for 6 month, let alone the 1 year warranty. It also stipulates that the customer can choose a refund, replacement, or repair, and I want my decoders replaced with new one's.
I do not appreciate being sent around in circles to Multichoice and back and having to connect and reconnect these things all the time to be replaced with more broken old units when I bought brand new units from you. I did business with you!
