On Saturday 4 May 2013 I took my wife on an outing to V&A Waterfront. She wanted to see the movie Quartet showing at Cinema Nouveau. Right behind from where we were seated was a door leading somewhere. Throughout the movie people were talking very loudly behind that door so much so that I went to knock on the door. Half way through the movie I complained to my wife that my arm and hand were itching. I was bitten by fleas or something inside the cinema. 3/4 through the movie the screen went blank and we just had sound. Even after it was reported nobody came into the Cine to inform the patrons what was going on. After 3 different people queried only then did they inform us that a lamp was blown and they will not be able to fix this. When we requested a refund the lady in charge said that her system does not allow for refunds and that she will see if she could issue us new tickets. This was surely the worst movie experience ever. we as the public pay big money to go to the movies and we expect a certain level of service especially at a place like the Waterfront. Oo yes, did I mention that the Coke Machine was also out of order and we had to walk to another vendor to get drinks
