Its now 23h32 and I have just arrived home after watching one of my most anticipated movies of the year, Iron Man 3. I would like to thank Ster-Kinekor for ruining the experience. Not only was the sound quality not up to par (at times I would say it was terrible), but the movie was interrupted MULTIPLE times by what one would suspect is a projector issue. The sound was so bad, at times we could hardly hear what is being said on-screen, while the interruptions complete broke the flow of the movie. The first time, someone came out explaining the movie would continue shortly, but it took a good couple of minutes (and retries) to get it working. The movie continued, but after a couple of minutes this happened again. This time they didn't even bother to explain the situation. We were never offered an apology for the interruptions. I am utterly disappointed! Why am I paying so much to watch a movie on the big screen if the experience is so much better on at home? It is unacceptable! It think that next time I will rather watch it at the nearest Nu Metro, or I will wait for the Bluray release.
