I purchased a toptv decoder on Thursday the 17th Oct. The sales lady at OK furniture assured me it would be installed the same day. The installer (funkies installations) contacted me made arrangements but did not arrive! Friday morning he rocks up and does the "installation" but can not get it working! I call the contact centre who assists me with the settings, the picture is constantly freezing. I call the installer who agrees to come out the sameday (Fri).
No call to let me know he is not coming, I wait the entire Friday no installer, no notification of his failure to arrive. Email complaints on Saturday, no picture most of the day. Same on Sunday!
Monday installer rocks up midday in a different unmarked vehicle to rectify. My wife home alone, so she refuses entry. I call him late Monday, he tells me he was there earlier.
It is business protocol to keep appointments and inform clients if you can not keep them!!! I must just be satisfied that he came on Monday?
Trust me rather save your money and get DSTV, even if it is the compact.
toptv will bring you new levels of "service" that we South Africans are sadly accepting!!!
