I visited the Cabanas for a week and wish I never made the mistake. Firstly, the room that i was iinitially was appalling, the shower was broken and i found myself having to dry a wet floor for the first few hours of my stay. the duvet was filthy and the staff not friendly at all. After putting up a huge fuss the following morning, i was finally given another room. So i spent another few hours having to unpack one room and repack another. Just when i though nothing could get worse. I made a booking for my bvrother the following week for a one night stay and the agreement with the booking agent was that he could pay on arrival or i can fill in a credit card authorisation for him on Friday prior to my departure. That very evening my bank account was debited with R3080 (the equivalent of 2 nights stay). I queried this at there reception and was told to contact my bank to reverse this (as if the bank would just reverse any transaction). I discussed this with the hotel manager who assured me that she would sort this mess out.it is now 12 days later and i have still not got my mooney back.everytime i call they say tommorrow.to me this is common! i am out of pocket bcos of their mistak
