When DSTV announced the changes that they were going to make to the series channels they made it sound like Compact viewers were going to get this amazing new channel but how disappointing!!!
Not only did they take Ellen off but they are constantly playing repeat seasons of series that were already shown on mnet series. A few examples: suites, Parenthood, Necessary Roughness, Rizoli&Ilses, private practice, the glades, house, Harry's law, hart of Dixie, up all night, unforgettable to name but a few. THEN a series runs from Monday to Thursday until the season ends so there is no variety between 6:30 and 8:30 from Monday to Thursday. I think one of the biggest problems with DSTV is that there is no real competition out there for them so we as consumers have no other choice than to accept what we have or pay up in order to receive all the channels! Why do we not have the choice of choosing our own channels?? I must admit I am looking forward to canceling my subscription with DSTV when I relocate overseas at the end of the year the only reason why I haven't yet is because I have no other choice!
