As avid movie watchers and supporters of Nu Metro, I was shocked at the service and help received at Nu Metro at the Boardwalk in Port Elizabeth. Upon arriving at the cinema, we wanted to take advantage of half price on Wednesdays but was informed that all of us must have Finatics club cards to do so. We then requested to join the club, but was then informed that it is not possible, as the club has ended. We then asked the manager for help, but she quickly said it is not her problem and we must phone head office. We phoned head office and was on hold for over 10 minutes and the lady took our number and said they will phone us back. We have not received one call from Nu Metro to get it sorted out and was forced to miss the movie. We have contacted Nu Metro afterwards an additional four times until Constance spoke to us and said that there is no more Fanatics club and we cannot join at all. The problem is that all current members can still take advantage, but nobody else. How on earth can Nu Metro still advertise half price Wednesday if it can't be used?! If this is the way that Nu Metro deals with customers, then I am afraid that from now on we will only support the competition.
