Our services were hired by Rebekah van Rooyen / aka Smash Eventing to basically supply every single element of her event. At the event itself, she was so incredibly rude to my suppliers, that I had to keep many of them from walking off site due to her rotten behaviour and speech towards them. These are suppliers who have been in the industry for many years, and never had any of them encountered such disgusting behavior - ever. She also wanted to leave one of the entertainers at the event, which meant he would have missed his flight, because she wanted to leave and have a shower (just one example). After the event, her clients then refused to pay for services they and she had booked, even though they had been paid for beforehand, which meant that other suppliers did not get paid. She also agreed on my management fee, and when it came to payment, she had messed up with her client so. She also forced us to accept a payment less R50 000 than what was owed, or refused to pay at all. This finally came 1 month after the event so suppliers were screaming for the money, so I had little choice - which meant that we then became responsible for her event which was very badly managed.
