I had a completely unacceptable experience trying to call multichoice client centre service for assistance with my decoder. I was on hold for 20 mins before an operator took my call, only to find that they couldn't help me after a further 9 mins. The worst of all is that I discovered that calls from a cell is charged at VAS tariffs of R2.85 per minute regardless of free minutes. R57 just to wait for them to answer the phone, and a further R25 for the address where I need to take my decoder!
