Defective decoder - issue still not addressed

I have a PVR decoder which is about 2 years old. There was a problem with the decoder whereby, if I recorded something or pressed the pause button, it would only play for a little while and the screen went blank. We took the decoder to Multichoice, they said it was a problem with the installation. We contacted an accredited installer, bought a new dish and we are still having the same problem. We took the decoder back to Multichoice, the assistant reset it and said it would be fine. Last night we rented a movie from Box office. Before the movie could end, same thing, blank screen. If I press pause and leave it for about 10 minutes, it will only play for about 2 minutes and the screen goes blank. Same thing happens when I try to play something I recorded. This is becoming extremely frustrating as we are paying for a service but the decoder does not work properly. I am going to be charged for renting a movie which I couldn't even watch. Can someone please assist? I am not driving all the way to Umhlanga yet again for nothing!
