Today, 21 January 2013 i received an sms at 14:28 advising me that i have been invited for a free screening of Argo on 23 Jan 2013 at 8pm at Musgrave Centre. As soon as I read the sms i contacted the number on the sms, 08216789. Since that time, i was holding on, and eventually getting cut off. at 15:35 i called the Musgrave Centre Ster Kinekor and spoke with an indian gentleman to enquire whether i could book directly with them as i cannot get through to the call centre. he advised me that he was not aware of their bookings and i must call the call centre. eventually at 15:45 i managed to get through to the call centre and was then advised that the tickets are already fully booked. This was quite disappointing. My husband and i were quite excited about the screening and invite and yet within 1 hour it was fully booked and no option for another cinema was given to us. i spent over R 60 of airtime for something that i was not even getting. This is totally unfair and as a "valued member" (as stated in the sms received), i think i should be shown by Ster Kinekor how valued i am as right now that is not how i feel. I am truly disappointed in what hapend today.
