I decided to take Carnival City up on their offer of a complimentary one night's stay and breakfast as a birthday treat for MVG's on 30 April 2013 for the first time. It all went horribly wrong at breakfast the next morning. Besides the craziest breakfast menu ever, food just didn't arrive at all. Most diners went ballistic and a since we needed to be somewhere else that morning we had to take our food as a take away more then an hour later! We decided to complain to the manager and found a few people also waiting for the manager ready to complain. A gentleman by the name of Trevor/Derek phoned me later and offered me another night to make up for the bad service and since I could really not hear him well he offered to phone me back later to confirm the dates for the other complimentary night. I am still waiting for his call! This is so bad because he phoned to correct bad service and ended up giving worse service and this from the manager. As MVG's we put a lot of money into the casino and have anyway already paid over and over for the freebies we get. my husband incidentally never receive any complimentaries from them even though we often enquire and he gambles more than me.
