On 16/02/2013 we bought a property from Louis Pretorius of Chas Everitte, Springs. According to Louis it was a bank repo house. On buying the properly we informed Louis that our current lease agreement ends on 30/04/2013. Louis assured us that the tenant will be moving out as our contract stated we take occupation on registration that on 26/04/2013. Our concern is the tenant. We had to go and see an attorney to get legal advice in regards to the lease agreement as Louis Pretorius has been ignored us. We have been phoning him, sending sms and well emails. The attorney we went to see for Legal advice informed us that "huur kom voor koop". The amount that the tenant is paying is far less than that of our new bond. Her monthly rental payment is R5200.00. There is a short fall of R2600.00. The short fall is a major issue but what is more of the concern is the fact we don't have a place to stay from 30 April 2013 although we will have a bond to pay back and a house registered in our names. We are extremely frustrated with Louis blunt ignorance of us. His office has sent an email to the transferring attorneys, stating that he has done his part, he has sold the property.
