Treatment given to me due to company's negligence

I made means to book a clubhouse at my complex by following protocol-paid the R200deposit&completed the form. Enquired if form had been received told -yes, waiting for authorisation from trustees. Saturday came and no reply as this was the second time I had contacted them as I was told that they will get back to me so I trusted that but no response. No one got back to me and canceled my event. E-mailed the individual stating my disappointment that no one contacted me&kindly asked for my refund. She replied by stating that "The guards were also informed & there is no reason why you could not have had your function'. I asked for proof and was immediately emailed authorisation sent to completely different e-mail address I had never seen. When I told the lady thAt it was not my e-mail address and I want my refund- surprise suprise, suddenly her response was not that fast and havent heard anything fromher. She was so quick to tell me off when i confronted the situation but when proof of negligence on their side was shown she did not have a come back and could not even apologise due to a mistake they made or update me as to when I would get my refund. This was unfair and unprofessional
