After staying at Midrivier Estate for a very great 3 years and paying my rent on time every month. My departure from the complex has been horrible. I had a verbal agreement with an agent from CSI Rentals after I signed a 1 month lease extension that I planned on leaving the complex afterwards.
A month later, as I was dropping off my keys @ the showhouse and leaving the estate. I was told that I should have submitted a letter saying that I planned on leaving the complex, as my contract with them is now APPARENTLY on a month to month basis. Soon after that I received mails from Juanita @ CSI Rentals saying I will be sent to Debt collectors.
Although I've been telling her I dont have a copy of the lease with the rules as it was never sent to me although I was promised. My deposit is gone and I have to pay an extra R3k for the month I now owe rent on.
This has left such a sour taste, that I will no longer be referring anyone to any of the Central Development properties. Funny thing is I had been warned by one of the workers of the complex about this daylight
Surely this is such bad business Karma for CSi Rentals?
