Refusal to return Electricity Deposits

I stayed in Savannah Lodge for a duration of 6months; February - July 2011. The contract stipulated that when you move out, a refund on your electricity should be paid (amount of R500.00). when i moved out of the flat, I was told that i should go fill in the paperwork for the deposit to be paid into my bank account, and such forms were filled in by their offices. everytime i went to their offices, i was told that the lady responsible for such payments was busy. Last year November when i went to their office, they told me i should not go to their offices again because the deposit was payed into my bank account. when i asked for evidance of such payment, they refused to provide me with it.

It"s been over a year since I moved out of the place and i still have not received my deposit made on electricity.
