Myself and a few other tenants were renting flats in Glocyn Court, Valda Street, Rosettenville through Campbell and Seaward. The block was taken over by another agent and many of us decided to move out, rather than stay and face the huge increases, and the issues that came with it. I left at the end of February 2013, after painting my flat out myself and cleaning the carpets etc, and have yet to be refunded my deposit, along with everyone else who left.
When I and the other tenants vacated the flat we were presented with a bill for unpaid electricity and utilities for previous months, yet, the electricity and the utilities was part of our monthly bill. When I spoke to Campbell and Seaward, threatening them and the owner with charges of, they are going to refund our deposit less two months electricity. I am prepared to pay for one month, but I paid pro rata electricity and utilities when I moved in and was told that the whole block is in arrears. I disagree, and if so - not my problem. I also want my key deposit and electricity deposit that I paid for when I moved in.
Beware of Glocyn Court, dont rent there. Beware of Campbell & Seaward.
