My family and I rented a flat from Rhonda Raad properties for my son for 2 years. On vacating the flat we agrred the time of inspection with them to be 3 pm on the 1st of Febraury 2013. The person allocated to do the inspection with us did not come at 3pm. I called their office at 3:15 and they said the guy will come in 5 minutes. But by 3:45 he was not there. I called again and they said we must wait hes coming. He arived just before 4pm. He was rude, did not apologise, and demanded 30 minutes of my time. He started writing things that were damaged on the ceiling when we moved into the flat. When I question this he said I was disturbing him. I told him I am not signing a report I dont agree with and left without signing. Today I receive an email that I have to pay for them to fix and paint the ceiling which we did not damage. I can pay for the floor costs which I agree with but not for doors and ceilings. It is unfair that these property agencies expect tenants to pay for costs that should be carried by the owner. The service at Rhonda Raad Rondebosch it bad and this was not my first bad experience with them. I will never use them again.
