I've recently applied for a property at the new development in Northpine called Ponderosa Duplex, of which, Durr Estate is managing the sale of these units. We've queried various prices on certain units and came across 1 we like. We were told that there are 3 options, units A, B and C which we could chose from, A - being standard, B - with B.I.C's and entertainment area and C - with B extra bedroom, or something to that effect. We just wanted a nice cozy place we could call home and eventually extend at a later stage looking at affordability. I get a call from an Durr agent today stating that unfortunately the developers now want more money for this specific property as they " cannot " just build a standard unit A, now bare in mind all other units are sold, this is the last unit, they are now requesting not R547 000 anymore, it is now R647 000 for either option B or C. I ask you, why has this now become an obligation when before as advertised, it was an OPTION... Should this not be dealt with accordingly, i will proceed to take matters further... this is really not a good impression for a so called well established company as the Gumtree add says...
