I own a house in a complex, in Elandspark Johannesburg. it was around 2012 or 2013 that we had to pay R7000 on special levies as it usually happens and we had to arrange on how we pay that. Some time during that period before I settle my special levies we had a new managemen. Immediately the bill went to plus R30 000, and it was a load of numbers that one would not know which one she is paying. I called trying to understand how we got there. I gave gave up however it has been a night mare paying the levies as we speak I am standing at R71000 and I have been paying between R4000 and R7500 monthly and it is just escalating. to make it worse i realised when I went to buy a car that I had a judgement and they had already applied for writ or repossesing my property. These are the people I have been communicating with and they had my email adress with and there has always been someone in the house and there was no service. I however managed to rescind the judgement, but the debt is still escalating and am not even able to pay my rates.
