We have recently bought my first house, as a young couple this was extremely exciting and scary as we were stepping into a new phase. We found a place that we loved, agent of Icon property group delft cape town showed us the place and we could see that the house needed some tlc which we didn't mind. We then signed and the day we needed to move in the agent advised that the tenants are not out as yet. Tenants confirm there was no notice given. We then waiting a whole month for us to finally move into our home after the original move in date. Once moving in on the 10 Dec 21 we walked into a dirty place, walls, floors and yard was extremely dirty. Agent haven't even bothered to come to the property on move in date, he had a local contactor open the house for us. Who then informed us that the windows are broken and can not be used. I then emailed icon support team as I no longer wanted to communicate with the agent. They then promised to send someone to clean the yard and repair the windows
Today is the 12 Feb 2022 and non of this has been done as yet. They hardly reply to my messages as I would have to call to get a reply. ICON PROPERTY MADE THE FIRST PURCHASE FOR A YOUNG COUPLES SO UNPLEASANT.
