WHY ARE WE PAYING MONTHLY FEES

Gosh where does one start? I have lived in Broadlands Village in Strand for almost 5 years. It's my first house and what promises I was made. Firstly I was told no levies. After a few months of staying there i started getting billed from Home Owners Association for SECURITY, GARDEN SERVICES, MAINTAINING OF THE WALLS AROUND THE COMPLEX, MONITORING OF HAWKERS, DOGS WALKING UNATTENDED, LOUD MUSIC, NO TRAILERS CARAVANS OR BROKEN DOWN VEHICLES PARKED ON PROPERTY, NO WASHING ON THE WALLS, NO BUSINESSES TO BE RUN FROM ANY OF THE RESIDENTIAL PROPERTIES, NO SIGNAGE... and the list goes on. Without getting into too much detail with facts and emails sent for more than a year I was disgusted when i was handed over for not paying. My side of the story was, i will pay if you provide service. Like i said, bad attitude and most of my messages were not returned. I was paying off small amounts, but i was still handed over. I have a caf? opperating opposite my kitchen window. From 5am they are laoding goods. Late at night/ early morning people are knocking on the window of the caf? cooldrink bottles and papers on my property. The list goes on. This place is a joke.
