I have been looking for a place to rent for the past two months, given the nature of the business I soon realised that if you want a place you need to act fast.
I then saw a place in Ferndale that I was mad about, i called the Agent and spoke to their consultant "Refiloe" who told me that I needed to pay them R350 before they can assist me in any way. A day or so later the money was sent to her company, and i then sent an email to her asking her to view the property that Saturday. She responded with a form that she wanted me to complete. I completed it and sent it back to her immediately and that was the last time I received any prompt response. From there on I called her company literally everyday and she was unavailable for a week and a half, I sent several emails, went to where their company is based and even tried speaking the other consultants. However I received no assistance.
Some time later she sent me a list of available properties that had nothing to do with my initial enquiry.
Their contract states that you will be a memeber for 3 months and are due to view up to 3 properties daily. I have been a member for an entire month and have NEVER viewed a single place!!!
