I rented a property through Riverhilll properties in July 2012. I signed a defects list, and inspected the place prior to moving in with an agent called Debbie, who no longer works there. When the time came to move out, two very arrogant and condescending agents came to inspect the unit. They made nasty comments about the unit, which had absolutely nothing to do with breakages, such as, " the soap dish is just clogged with soap!! ", and " the walls are so dirty". The walls were dirty when I moved in, in fact all the defects were on the list I signed when I moved in, and they had lost the previous list, so decided to get really petty, hence mentioning 'clogged up soap' in a soap dish.
My deposit has been retained by the owner, who is living abroad, and has not had the chance to inspect the property herself, due to these nasty agents putting previous defects from the previous tenant on the list!!
I refuse to be subjected to this type of bullying behaviour, and wish to report these people, and warn others.
