One would like to think an agency advertising properties for sale would actually like to make a sale. My experience with Lauretta Slabber of National Letting has been the complete opposite.
It took 2 emails (24/09 and 27/09) and 2 weeks (07/10) for a simple request for property information. The response I eventually got couldn't have taken more than 5 minutes for anyone with a strain of competence in their job.
Multiple phone calls went unanswered, and never responded too, both with Lauretta and Chantelle. I don't care if you're busy - don't text that to me, call back when you are free. The final straw was last week's runaround to just try and view the property which went like this: email to Lauretta on Thursday morning. No response. Phone call on Friday morning. No response to the voicemail. Managed to get through on Saturday morning along with a promise one of her fellow agents would call me back shortly to arrange a viewing. I'm still waiting for that call.
The blatant lack of interest is disturbing. Why anyone would choose to work with you is beyond me.
At least you did one thing right - living up to the unfortunate reputation of many an estate agent these days.
