Our agent firstly failed to inform us that the property we wanted to rent was for sale, claiming that she did not know. Today, now that we are moved in, as the initial sale fell through, I got a phone call from a gentleman, asking when it would be convenient for him to come and value the property for the new owners. He was just as surprised as I was when he realised that I had not yet been informed that the property we are renting has been sold. Yet again, we were the last to know. We do not believe that Just Letting did not know about any of the sale details - that it was up for sale to start with or that it has now been sold. Does a sale really go through that quickly? Does a new owner really pick up a phone for an evaluator that quickly that our agent did not have enough time to inform us as to our new situation? I don't think so. Also, no one can tell us whether the new owner wants to move in or rent to us. Surprise, surprise. Again, we are the last to know...
