I leased a property from Lencar jointly with a friend (whom I do not have contact with) about a year ago (May 2012 to be exact). I was at the property for about 2 months before I requested that the lease end, Lencar responded via email stating that this was in order and that I was not responsible for the property (I have emails). Our contract with Lencar stated that we were allowed to keep 2 pets (miniature dogs) - I have this contact in my possession. Once we had moved in, the body corporate then said we could not keep the pets, Lencar then said they would sort out (as our contract stated we could keep pets). Let me just say that we would not have taken the place, if we could not keep the pets. Today, I received a telephone call from a lady claiming to be an attorney for Lencar, saying that I need to pay fines for the dogs. How is this so, if our contract stated 2 pets. I am quite disgusted with the service from Lencar as an ex customer as well as when I was a customer. Lencar is extremely unprofessional and I will never deal with you again. Please shed some light on the matter as I feel it quite unfair that legal action is taken against me. Please respond...
