At the end of January 2013 I moved out of a property I had been renting via Invest in the best properties.
After many calls and e-mails to Martie Venter and Natasha Fick I have still not gotten my R10 500 deposit back.
This is in breach of the contract I signed with them! They also withheld the last months rent from the owner.
They will make up any excuse to your money. They even tried playing me up against the owner of the property.
Their whole attitude during the rental period was terrible. They never lifted a finger to do their job. For example as a tenant I had to go to the municipality and pay the rates and taxes and then deduct this off my rent. Unacceptable!
I filed an official complain against them with the Estate Agency Affairs Board of who they claim to be a member. But the EEAB won't lift a finger to assist, claiming I need to exhaust all legal avenues and that my complaint has passed the 3 month mark...
