Misleading people via property to be rent

I have rented a apartment from them, signed the contract and paid the deposit,
after a week of battle to get them to tell me when i can move in, and they did not phone me
after hours on a weekend they requested the caretaker of the complex to BBM us to notify us that we cannot move in, we had to move in on the Monday morning and they refuse to answer my calls
it seems they do this in a, to get people to view a property and get them to make deposits and then they don't rent the property out, they don't call back or pick up the phone and if you do get hold of them, they put the phone down

phoned their head-office and the manager verbally abuse me and gave me lip about the contract and said we are at fault and the owner has not signed the contact,
as far as I know the owner has given them the go ahead to place the add on the internet
now we have to start looking for other place to stay and they still have the money and we cannot even pay for a deposit to anyone else
