People often complain that our government department personnel are not efficient enough. But I have a different view. I contacted the Human Settlement Dept. on Thursday afternoon with regards to subsidies. Boom on Friday morning I received a comprehensive response from one of their employees Ms/Mrs Nomsa Msomi, who explained everything in detail. I now know how the system works and she also referred me to a person who can assist me further should I wish to be interested in applying for a housing subsidy. Thank you Nomsa, you have made my first interaction with a government department a memorable one.
