I was working as a paramedic (BAA) for the dept of health EMS (Emergency Medical Services) Eastern Cape in humansdorp. I worked as a contract worker and was great at what I do. We would experience not being paid by the dept at times for 5months waiting on beurocratic from one manager to another. I have exhausted all avenues as I have pleaded for help starting from my local management in POrt Elizabeth to Provincial Human Resources dept... I have laid a complaint with the presidential hotline who called me back but refers me to the provincial call centre who have been giving me the Department's popular response "we will follow up".
