Since Aug.2009 when my building has been sold, I countless times requested, queued up in lines for hours, emailed, phoned even eventually managed to met Ria van Niekerk assistant director of refunds. On 2 Aug.2012 I personally requested her for the many tens of thousand of rand refunds due to me for overcharged clearance certificate. She has corresponded with others within the department for "process this refund urgently" yet still no results until today. Reach her on email is impossible because "Router Database disk quota exceeded". So here I'm three and a half years later with tremendous inputs and not even the assistant director of refunds could help me to get my money refunded from the City of Johannesburg.
