I had my phone on Sunday on my return from the long weekend on public transport i used. After trying to find the phone i finally decided Tableview Police Station the officer at the desk informed me of what i'll need to report the phone and get the correct paper work for the insurance this was the Sunday. I had to return the Monday to the Station with all the Information the officer requested. I went directly from work to the station to get my case number and send the details through to my insurance. The officer at the desk Constable Phillander informs me that SAPS no longer helps in cases of mobile phones so he can't help. I wanted o know why the officer on duty told me to get all the paper work and bring it in? As i walk out he tells me "his only joking" I just came from work the last thing i need is someone to waste my time and i did not find the situation i'm in a joke. I called for his Superior who i informed that my case is a joke to Constable Phillader. He assigns some other officer to assist me. He starts filling in the info and tells me he will only assist me halfway as he has to leave for home at 18:00. You will only be assisted halfway at SAPS.
