I was physically assaulted by my ex-boyfriend. I went to the police station the very next morning. At first they gave me incorrect information as to what procedure to follow to open an assault case. I then left the station with the incorrect information. A contact of mine, her father is a duty officier so we called him hoping I could find out what exactly to do. He called the duty officer that was on duty today at hercules station, 18th november and explained my situation. I waited for more than a hour to be helped and I was not helped. I had an physiologist appointment for my traumatic experience. I met a Konstable at the waiting rooms who said I should go to Sinoville police station and I will be helped. I was in and out there in a matter of 15minutes, knowing exactly what to do and which forms needed to be filled in. I am utterly disgusted by the service at Hercules police station. It was an assault and they could not seem to care give one bit!! But a huge thank you to Sinoville police station who helped me to follow the correct procedure!
