For more than 4 months in a row the Water and Lights bill has been on exactly 1288KW/h and 132KL respectively which I found to be untrue. I lodged a complain over the Esiyakhokha website and they send email showing that the query has been escalated but no one ever bothered to phone or respond.
I went myself to Alberton offices but i was referred to Technical dept in Swartkoppies.
Getting there was so annoying because as i finished explaining why I am there the lady just told me they are billing for the past 5 weeks and without requesting she handed me the prepaid application forms which was not the exact answer why am I paying - R4700 every month and she started lecturing me about the disadvantages of non-prepaid system which was unacceptable.
This is abnormal for a residence with 4 occupants (2 adults and 8yr and 6yr kids, no swimming pool and i only leave watering the garden to the rain.
This month they sent the valuation notice bearing the name of the previous owner and my former residential address. Someone is not doing the paperwork as expected.
Can someone from the council PLEASE attend to this because its really digging the pocket unjustifiably.
