I would like to start by acknowledging the Ekurhuleni municipality for the general reliability of public services around this demanding season of the year.
Unfortunately this great service is exclusive to my home and my family. Earlier this morning the power in my Kempton park home got cut due to what seemed to be an overload although nothing but the geyser and my phone charger was running at the time. Upon my discovery of this inconvenience I responded by calling the municipality line to the stand-by technicians on duty but naturally the phones were ringing off the hook with no response. I proceeded to calling all the alternatives availed to me for hours with no response to any of these telephone lines, which included the Ekurhuleni enquiry switch board.
I was left with no choice but to call the area councillor (Mr Johan Jordaan) but my call was confronted by his voice message announcing his unavailability and an alternative number to call. Well, naturally upon calling no response once again. I'm writing this complaint having exhausted all my options, and I have reason to believe that there's intentional misconduct at play. Please... Ekurhuleni this is unacceptable!
