Licensing Department
3 id numbers=no drivers licence

I am told that due to the fact I have been issued by three ID numbers from Home Affairs, I now on my third licence renewal can not get my driver's licence.

Wadeville Testing station told me they had to send the IDs to Pretoria. This was supposed to take two weeks, but took two months. I had to pay R75 for a temporary driver's licence and take two days of work to sort this out.

On returning to Wadeville to enquire on what was happening I was very rudely told I can not collect the driver's licence- since the letter Wadeville sent to Pretoria did not get returned with the necessary confirmation letter. I then phoned the Enatis office and Matilda told me she would contact me with an update which to date (two weeks on) they have not done.

I find it extremely unfair that I now have to take of a further day from work and pay a further fee of R75.00, to get a letter to confirm my ids are all merged since when I go to the website and check my ID they all show up as my latest ID number.
