Made the following inquiry at Mr Mpho Moloi..
I HOPE that you will be willing and or able to assist me, as i have been to a number of your colleagues without being helped.
I am trying to find out whether or not it is permit-able by law, that ones ID book may be detained by the security of a security complex..? keeping in mind the current spike of and ID .
IF this then is not permit-able, is it possible that you could assist me with written proof stating just this, as this is a matter of UTMOST URGENCY..!!
In the response email, i was referred to go see the homepage of Home Affairs. Here there is no indication that helps me in anyway whatsoever. I have also been searching now for sometime the internet in an attempt so see IF i can resolve this on my own, but without any luck. I am beyond the point of frustration.
