I submitted my application to our office (at Germiston Home Affairs). The Home Affairs acknowledged the receipt of my permit on 22/8/2012.

In December 16, 2012 I phoned the home Affairs head office to inquire on the status of my permit. The answer I received was "your application had be received according to our system data, but the office where you submitted the application did not send your file to the head office to be finalised.

Then Febuary 8, 2013 I repeated the inquiry and received same response as above. Apparently, this delay of my application has grossly affected my work, my Masters' research at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. Access to my bank account has been blocked by Standard Band and ABSA. I am no longer surviving.

I need home Affairs Germiston to forward my application file to Home Affairs head office to be finalised. I appreciate your urgent attention to this matter. Please notify me of progress. Thanks
