On the 30th August 2013 at 15h40 I contacted the department of Home Affairs Hot line (0800601190 to enquire about a permit application- ref 1000609216.I spoke to Seka. She was rude on the phone. She asked me personal details such as ID number, name and contact number. I explained to her that I was enquiring on behalf of someone else. She then asked for the passport number and ref number of that person. At that point I was expecting the consultant to give me an update on the query as the permit application was done in 2011.The consultant indicated that they respond to all the queries on a 24 hour turnaround time.
