Municipality's poor service and regard for quality

To whom it may concern

On the afternoon of the 10th October we had a light wind and rain storm in Capital park and our electricity was disrupted because of 3 power lines being snapped.

We tried to report the incident as power lines where lying in the street and cars had to drive around them. We tried numerous times letting the phone ring up to 30 minutes long at a time but could not get through.
The following morning the wires we fixed but we still sat with-out electricity.

I went out on Friday morning and saw that our power wire was dislodged from the breaker and hanging freely, the people who worked on that pole could they not have noticed it. We logged a complaint on Friday and received the following ref number 234/11.Friday came and Friday went nothing happened and no one came to fix our electricity.

Saturday morning we phoned again and after about 30 minutes someone picked up the phone and just put it down again. when we eventually got through we received the following ref number 99/12.Saturday came and Saturday went nothing was done.

As you see, it is Sunday morning 09h28 we are still without power and all our monthly refrigerated meats and groceries have defrosted and
