I parked on Thursday 26 September at 07:00 in Fox street, Johannesburg. No parking meters or parking attendants. When I arrived at my car at about 12:15 there was a ticket on my window. I thought it was a joke. I would really like the Metro Police to tell me what they expect from us. What do we have to do if there are NO attendants. Could they kindly request the attendants to be there before 07:00 in the morning. Because if there is no one there, it is no possible to pay. Surely, this is not too difficult to understand. I did not see any notices advising the public that we are not supposed to park there before 07:00. Or that we have to wait to be "served". And by the way - I am not going to pay.
